ARCH College of Design and Business organized an Installation Art and Stop Motion workshop under its Design Culture Create Initiative, with the participation of 40 students and their teachers. The students were from Delhi Public School Jaipur, MPS Kalwar Road, Sanskar School, Subodh Public School, Dharav High School, and Maharaja Sawai Bhawani Singh School. The workshop was held in collaboration with the City Palace Museum Trust for the Jaipur History Festival 2024, where school students learned storytelling techniques through folk art and stop motion to raise awareness on the topic of "Financial Literacy through Folk Art."
The workshop provided students with an opportunity to connect with folk art traditions, which enhances their creativity and design thinking. Students from Subodh Public School created an installation inspired by Panchatantra stories, aiming to demonstrate financial literacy through these ancient tales. Meanwhile, students from Delhi Public School Jaipur worked on the 'Tree of Life' concept, which illustrated financial concepts in the Mandala style. Most schools used Rajasthani folk art to express important stories related to financial values, skills, and education.
