2 Lac Workshop with Master Artisan Shadab Ahmed
ARCH College of Design & Business recently organized a special lac workshop featuring Master Artisan Shadab Ahmed, who provided students with insights into this traditional art form from Rajasthan and demonstrated the technique live. With nearly 34 years of experience and accolades such as "Jaipur Ratna," "Rajasthan Gaurav Ratna," and a world record, Shadab Ahmed shared his expertise on the art and its techniques during the workshop.
The objective of the workshop was to give students hands-on experience with this traditional art, enabling them to learn the techniques and incorporate them into their own designs. During the session, students worked closely with the artisan, creating prototypes related to the art form for their projects.
Over 50 students from the Fashion, Jewelry, Interior, and Communication departments participated in the workshop. They gained not only a unique experience but also a new skill, reflecting ARCH College's commitment to providing real-world experience and opportunities to work with industry experts.
