A Webinar on Future of Handloom

FICCI in association with RHDC and the Azaadi ka Amrit Mahotsav initiative of the Government of India invited ARCH Founder & Director Ms Archana Surana for a webinar on "Reimagining the Handloom Growth Story in Rajasthan". In the present scenario, Ms Archana believes that the major stakeholders: The Government, Industry and Education sector need to invest closely in design education, and institutions associated with youth and communities, to develop a culture of design and keep cherishing the heirloom of our ancestors: The Handloom.

Ms Archana was joined by Rita Prem Hemrajani, Managing Director, NHDC; Neha Giri, Chairman & Managing Director, RSHDC; Randhir Vikram Singh, Co-Chairman, FICCI Rajasthan State Council & CMD, Mandawa Hotels; Dr Toolika Gupta, Director, IICD; Mudrika Dhoka, Chairperson, Jaipur Chapter FICCI-Flo for discussing the Future of Handloom for the webinar.
