Panel on Biophilic Interiors for the Modern World

With Moderator Prof. Bhargav Mistry, Dean-Design Culture, ARCH sat Sheetal Kumar Agarwal, Chairman IID - JRC; Nikhil Agrawal, Chief Architect at Design Atelier; Megha Bhatnagar, Architect, Archeus Design Studio for the Industry panel with Institute of Indian Interior Designers (lIID), discussing the basics of bio-philia and biophilic design in architectural and interior spaces.

Considering the importance of Biophilia and biophilic design, the panel came to the conclusion that the use of organic materials is the best way to gain knowledge about becoming Biophilic. Biophilic design is not just limited to having green plants inside the house, it has a larger perspective by including natural air purifiers, eco-friendly fabric living walls and many more. It is a type of culture that needs to be inculcated as a habit within every individual to establish something with greater meaning and future outcomes.
