Keynote address on Design Culture (S) for Peace

Prof. Lorenzo Imbesi, Full Professor, Sapienza University of Rome & Design PhD Chair, Cumulus Executive Board joined the confluence virtually for the Inauguration Keynote Address on Design Culture (s) for Peace. Design, he suggested, is against the war since it is always creating something new to make the world a better place. Putting Design in its proper perspective, he argues the role of design and design cultures around the world in bringing peace in these difficult times.

The power of design is to bring back world peace as it is an expression of culture that transcends communities and borders, combining a universal language of design, justice, freedom, and solidarity with global values of friendship, solidarity, love, and beauty.
