Ms Archana Surana sat as a panelist at the 22nd World Education Summit 2021: a premier global event on innovation in education. Organised by Elets the event was a congregation of leaders from the global education fraternity sharing their ideas to reinvent, redesign and revamp education.
Ms Archana Surana was joined by other stalwarts of innovative education practices - Dr Indrajit Bhattacharya Director NABET, Prof. V Ramgopal Rao, Director IIT Delhi, Prof. Prem Vrat, Chairman, Board of Governors IIT(ISM) and Dr Mangesh Karad, Executive President & Vice-Chancellor MIT-ADT University, Pune to discuss the National Education Policy 2020: Changing the dynamic of Indian Higher Education & Institutional preparation.
Establishing the importance of design education in school learning Ms Surana emphasised on that NEP20 is aligned to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and aims to transform India into a vibrant knowledge society and global knowledge superpower by making both school and college education more holistic, flexible, multidisciplinary. Suited to 21st century needs and aimed at bringing out the unique capabilities of each student , the policy building the foundational pillars of Access, Equity, Quality, Affordability and Accountability.
