Virtual Conference on Design Ability with Educators
The Covid-19 pandemic and the closure of schools world-wide has created opportunities for school leaders to enlarge their vision and reimagine what school is, and for everyone in school communities to work together to dismantle inequity. An online symposium of educational leaders was organized as 2021 presented the educational leaders with another opportunity to make a difference to the Indian Education system.
Leading the charge to address challenges and find solutions to ensure more equitable opportunities and outcomes for students, Director Archana Surana laid emphasis on the importance of unlearning in the prevailing circumstances. Discussing the sample size of the challenge she elaborated on how design ability could create a plethora of opportunities for innovation in the existing educational system. The current situation world-wide has forced everyone in Education to work outside their comfort zone. After tentative steps into the virtual world in 2020, these educational leaders expressed their hope to use their newly acquired skills to venture into the unpredictable future with more confidence, continuing to lead, link and learn, working together with their teams to make a better future for all.
