Workshop on Design Ability
In keeping with the lofty motto of developing and disseminating relevant knowledge & skills, in consonance with the emerging needs of society, and moving proactively, and with velocity, towards this goal, ARCH invited school principals to discuss, understand, and share their views on the new education policy and its directions covering the inclusion of design thinking as a subject in schools.
When working with a topic as evocative as ‘design thinking’, it's fairly easy to have a vibrant and comprehensive symposium. Armed with the knowledge of the interconnectedness of all the different aspects of sciences and arts, the leaders discussed how design ability can create a plethora of opportunities for innovation in the existing educational system. What emerged were inspiring stories of innovations, and unique ways each institution had worked on including design thinking in their teaching methodologies and other activities and how they would continue to work and build
on this precious foundation.
