WAJID KHAN is an Indian artist, portraitist, sculptor, inventor and patent holder. An unschooled artist, he is a holder of 37 world records & 8 patents, and has been called the Da Vinci of India by Forbes India Magazine. He has been commissioned to design a unique sculpture for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, to be held in Qatar.
In a Masterclass, he described the details of his evolutionary journey, from school dropout to a highly successful and world renowned artist. He shared his knowledge and an introduction to his practice of various art forms like Shadow art, metal art, stone art, kinetic art, and nail art. Using his well honed talent for developing his own techniques and processes along the way, he has breathed life into his artworks and inventions through hard work, perseverance and sheer creative vision and ability. In his session, he freely and generously gave his advice on how to build ones creative potential through exercise, meditation and fearless experimentation.
