The Goldozi Project - towards skill development
The Project cell at ARCH is continuously working towards skills development training programs for various sectors of society. Continuing the same a delegation of women from Afghanistan has come to ARCH College under the 10 days Goldozi Project.
The Goldozi project (Goldozi is dari for “Embroidery”) is to assist women in and around Kabul, Afghanistan, to increase the commercial potential of their traditional embroidered products. This project is Funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development.
ARCH will help these women to upgrade their design skills and increase access to market information that will help them to increase the commercial and export potential of their products. It will also enable women embroiders to learn the skills needed to become more marketable in a growing, competitive market.
