ARCH ACCELERATOR PROGRAM – SESSION 3

The third session of the Accelerator program was held at the ARCH College of Design and Business on Wednesday, 31st January 2018. Startup Accelerators, also known as ‘seed accelerators’, are fixed-term, cohort-based programs, that include mentorship and educational components. Mr. Abhishek Jain, who is the co-founder of estitch.in addressed the students regarding handling operations and a go-to-market strategy. The website www.estitch.in is an Aggregator providing doorstep tailoring services for women. Most of its work is outsourced to NGOs.

Abhishek feels that, “if colleges initiate more such Accelerator programs then dependency on jobs will become very less." He also shared his journey as an entrepreneur in this 90 minute session. The knowledge given in this session was not theoretical, students were given the knowledge to go to market with their product. Students showed keen interest in the session and came up with many questions. Next session in the Accelerator series will be on Financial Modelling, giving details of projection of all finance related issues.
